In this Coronation year we will be singing the Four Coronation Anthems by George Frideric Handel. An all day workshop lead by our musical director David Ballard and accompanied by Philip Adams. Concludes with an informal concert performance at 4:00 PM in St Peter’s Parish Church, Sheringham open to all. Retiring collection for Church and Society funds. . No booking required for concert performance. The four Coronation Anthems were composed by Handel for King George ll. The best-known of them, Zadok the Priest, has been sung prior to the anointing of the sovereign at the coronation of every British monarch since, including King Charles lll.
