Solo cello

He has performed in several key auditoriums in Mexico and around the world such as the Palacio de Bellas Artes, Wigmore Hall, Sala Nezahualcoyotl, Teatro Degollado, Musikverein, Festspielhause, Kölner Philarmonie, under the baton of conductors such as Francisco Savin, Fernando Lozano, Héctor Guzmán, James Demster, Massimo Quarte and Michelle Merrill. He has participated in several tours  including the USA, Europe and Japan. In 2011 he participated in the Chicago Youth Music Festival under the baton of Ricardo Muti in the Symphony Center Chicago. In 2014 he performed Arturo Márquez’s Concerto during the Tlaxcala’s Music Festival, and afterwards he was invited by the composer to record the same concerto for the special edition of Marquez’s Music. He has attended courses in France, the USA, Italy, Japan and the United Kingdom, where he has had the opportunity to receive master classes from Alexander Rudin, Bongshin Ko, Emanuel Gruber, Richard Markson, Alban Gerhardt, Lynn Harrel and Vagram Saradjian. In addition to his activities as a soloist, he is the principal cellist in the Mexican National Symphony Orchestra and its youngest member. Since september 2020 he has been studying for a Masters degree at Trinity Conservatoire for Music and Dance, where he was granted two scholarships, The Joan Andrews Scholarship and the Trinity College of London Scholarship.
