Add to my Calendar 27-11-2017 19:30 27-11-2017 21:30 36 ‘Storytellers: Medtner and Stravinsky’ ⠀ Pianist Alexei Volodin pays homage to the masters of imaginative piano writing, performing three of Nikolai Medtner’s Fairy Tales for solo piano, followed by a performance of Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring with fellow-pianist Edith Peña and concluding with the two pianists being joined by members of the London Chamber Orchestra to perform Medtner’s Piano Quintet.
