Programme Note

This is a story of passion and jealousy, fight for freedom and sacrifice.  Tosca is an opera diva who is in love with painter Mario Cavaradossi.  The two lovers’ lives are in danger as they are trying to flee Rome, away from the tyrannical villain, Scarpia.  Join us for an unforgettable evening of glorious music at the beautiful Victorian Normansfield Theatre in Teddington, just a mile from Hampton Court Palace.  There will be four performances, fully staged with orchestra and two excellent casts.
