Paddington’s First Concert by Herbert Chappell, written to complement the late 1970s television animation series, is the perfect way to introduce your children to a live classical music concert. With comfortable tiered seating at our venue at Oaklands School in Waterlooville, children will be able to see and hear a full symphony orchestra and its conductors in action. Accompanying Paddington’s First Concert we will also be performing music from the film scores of Harry Potter and Star Wars along with short excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite, Bizet’s opera, Carmen, and Elgar’s Enigma Variation .
