Tim Mead (countertenor), Andy Staples (tenor), David Bates (artistic director) and La Nuova Musica (ensemble) present Purcell's Finest Verses, a beautifully performed and filmed short documentary-come-concert of Henry Purcell's finest songs for countertenor and tenor voice. It will be followed by a live Q&A with the soloists and artistic director. Your generosity at the box office will directly benefit the artists at La Nuova Musica, who earn 80% of all ticket revenues. This filmed performance was made by La Nuova Musica and the online event will be hosted by Greengage. If you can't make it on the 12 February, don't worry! Your ticket entitles you to watch the film at any time after the 12th. La Nuova Musica is one of the most versatile performing groups of its kind. Under the direction of founder and Artistic Director David Bates, LNM strives to reveal new aspects of familiar repertoire, through dynamic performances that draw masterpieces and lesser-known works from across the Baroque and Classical periods, alongside new commissions.
