Add to my Calendar 16-05-2021 19:00 16-05-2021 21:00 36 The Self-Isolation Choir presents Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle Through February and March 2021, the amazing Ellie Slorach skilfully led singers from The Self-Isolation Choir through learning, performing and recording Rossini's magnificent Petite Messe Solonnelle. The Choir's voices - recorded in isolation at home - have been mixed in the studio with top-class performances on the piano and harmonium from the wonderful Richard Gowers and solos from members of the excellent Kantos Chamber Choir. The finished performance premiered on 1 May to great acclaim, but we received so many requests for an encore performance that we're doing it all over again! This bonus performance will be streamed on YouTube on Sunday 16th May at 19:00 BST, with live conducting from Ellie Slorach, at https://youtu.be/oEI0MgUJ19A The concert will be free to enjoy, although a £5 suggested donation would be appreciated for Kantos Chamber Choir, helping to support its wonderful musicians at a devastating time for the live music industry. Through February and March 2021, the amazing Ellie Slorach skilfully led singers from The Self-Isolation Choir through learning, performing and recording Rossini's magnificent Petite Messe Solonnelle.
