Programme Note

Opera Live At Home is a new online platform to listen and chat to talented opera singers and their accompanists.

On Tuesday 23 February the winner of the 2020 Ferrier Loveday Song Prize, soprano Milly Forrest presents a lovely selection of arias by Handel, Humperdinck, Mozart, Massenet and Smetana.

A short Q&A follows after the performance, allowing you to ask questions to Mily and Ian; a rare opportunity!

This opera evening is moderated by Helen Astrid, who provides insightful introductions to each aria as well as intriguing anecdotes about the composers who wrote them.

Programmes with texts and translations will be provided beforehand.

The concert remains available for on-demand viewing to ticket holders for 30 days after the performance. A link will be sent to you via email so you can enjoy it again and again!

We'd love welcoming you in our intimate digital opera recital hall!
