Add to my Calendar 15-04-2021 19:30 15-04-2021 21:30 36 Connected skies #4 Echoed written by Angela Slater & performed by flautist Emma Coulthard The composer Angela Elizabeth Slater’s Connected Skies: Solo Series Challenge is a project involving the composition of six new solo works (about ten minutes each in length) between October 2020 and May 2021, with each being digitally performed in a monthly virtual event from January 2021. New works for double bass, cello, flute (with glissando head joint), accordion, percussion and mezzo soprano will be written. In addition to digital concerts, this project will include blogs, digital pre-concert talks and Q&A sessions, giving us a chance to share our process in these continuing challenging and strange times.
