Programme Note
Join the critically acclaimed London Oriana Choir, Dominic Ellis-Peckham and rising stars from the Emerging Artists Programme at Opera Holland Park for a very special evening, marking the choir’s first public performance since the pandemic began. Haydn’s effervescent Nelson Mass takes centre stage, alongside two world premières - In The Blue by Anna Disley-Simpson, her final commission as the choir's composer in residence, and Harlem Night Song by the choir's very own Tara Mack. The programme also includes music from Henrich Schütz, Camille Saint-Saëns, Jessica Curry, Charles Villiers Stanford and Eleanor Daley.
