Royal Academy of Music (musicians)

Programme Note

Royal Academy Harp Ensemble was formed in 1993 by Skaila Kanga to provide opportunities to play in a harp ‘orchestra’ and to perform newly commissioned works. Their success has included performances at Wigmore Hall, Mansion House, Senate House, King’s Place, St Martin in the Fields, St James Piccadilly, Southwark Cathedral, Bury St Edmunds Festival, Cardiff Millennium Centre, World Harp Congress Cardiff.

This concert's ensemble is drawn from prize-winning undergraduate and Masters students from Wales, Hong Kong, Scotland and USA.
