Programme Note
An evening of much-loved string quartet classics.
Rebecca grew up and lives in Pinner. After Haberdashers’ Girls, she gained an instrumental award to Cambridge, with postgraduate studies at the Royal Northern College.
Erica studied at the Royal Academy of Music with Howard Davis and Sidney Griller, and enjoyed a versatile freelance career, with many London orchestras and a founding member of the String of Pearls quartet.
Pip played violin from age 10. After studying violin & viola at Birmingham Conservatoire, she transferred to the Royal Academy where her passion for viola arose through playing string quartets. She has enjoyed a diverse musical career with many London orchestras, West End shows & String of Pearls quartet.
Jacky is a much sought-after and respected solo, chamber and professional session cellist and has appeared in the UK and at many international venues.
