Programme Note
Janusz Piotrowicz, the renowned conductor and pianist, is playing Chopin in a one-off recital in aid of Humanitarian Aid Relief Trust and The World Trust.
In November, please join us at The Princess Alexandra Auditorium in Stockton-on-Tees, North Yorkshire for an evening of ‘magical tonal mastery’ (Il Tempo, Rome).
Janusz is the International Chopin Competition Prizewinner and a visionary musician of mesmerising insight whose performances are renowned for clarity and intensity and unique depth of sound. The programme includes Nocturnes, Mazurkas, Waltzes, Preludes, Berceuse, and Liszt-Horowitz Funérailles (homage to Chopin).
He has toured in Denmark, Italy, Spain, Poland, Russia, Canada, the USA, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Southern Africa, and throughout the UK, receiving the highest critical acclaim.

Janusz is Founder and Conductor of L’Orchestre du Monde and Artistic Director of Ripon International Festival, now in its 21st year. The charity he founded, The World Trust, has given over 50 donations in 40 countries as a result of his concerts around the world. The proceeds of this concert will be shared between The World Trust and Humanitarian Aid Relief Trust.
