Programme Note
This concert in the beautiful surroundings of Bolton Priory will add to local commemorations of the centenary of the Armistice. It will enhance our remembrance of all who have died in wars or who have been wounded, impoverished or displaced by conflicts throughout the world.
Camerata Salicium will include talented young players as well as students from the Royal Northern College of Music and local players, thus giving young people opportunity not only to play alongside experienced players but to take part in an important historic event.
As well as Mozart's Requiem the programme will include some readings and will begin with "Justorum animae" by Orlando di Lasso.
