Commissioned by Olga D’Alesio, Variazioni Tiepolo by Roberto David Rusconi is the world premiere of this extraordinary evening. With thematic variations tailored for the virtuosity of the Quartet’s violinists, Rusconi’s creation is a musical journey with a lightness of touch that responds to the reflections and shades of the Capricci and Scherzi sketches by Rococo artist Giovanni Battista Tiepolo.
