Come and experience the thrill of singing Carl Orff’s monumental Carmina Burana in an enaging full-day choral singing event that will culminate in an electrifying evening performance!
Under the expert guidance of Ben England, you will explore this iconic work for mixed choir, with an accompanying arrangement for two pianos and percussion crafted by concert pianist Dr Ana England.
Dr England herself will play one of the pianos, both throughout the workshops and for the performance, where she will be joined by Kate Woodman on the second piano and percussion by Katie England.
Whether it’s the drama of the well-known O Fortuna, the bawdy fun of In Taberna, or the triumphant joy of Ave Formosissima, Carmina Burana is a fun and satisfying sing, whether it's for the first or fifteenth time.
Prepare in advance for this vibrant and memorable musical experience with our world-class learning resources! When singers arrive fully prepared for the day and with a good grasp of of the music, the choir's confidence soars, allowing for an even more memorable performance.

Please note, participants are required to purchase and bring their own digital or printed copy of the Carmina Burana score, details for which will be provided on booking.
Under-18s are welcome to attend but must be accompanied by an adult.
