As many of you will know, we are now under the baton of Jack Lovell, who took over the position of Musical Director from Darrell Wade following Darrell’s retirement in May 2015.
Jack is a graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama’s prestigious Orchestral Conducting masters course and has worked extensively with every ensemble at the Royal Welsh College and the University of Birmingham as well as having guest conducted with the Asklepois and Charnwood Orchestras, Operamus, Midland Opera and Canton Chorus. More recently, Jack made his Royal Opera House debut as Assistant Conductor for David Bruce’s The Firework-makers Daughter in November 2015.
We are all very excited about our concert and very much hope to see you there.
