The Bach Choir’s annual performance of Bach’s St Matthew Passion, sung in English, is a much-anticipated fixture in London’s musical calendar.

The St Matthew Passion is a dramatic telling of the Passion of Christ, which features some of Bach’s most beautiful and poignant chorales, alongside rousing and striking choruses.  It is a work that The Bach Choir is renowned for performing annually to an exceptionally high standard.

Please note that there is a long lunch interval between parts 1 and 2 – the interval begins at 12.15pm. Part 2 begins at 2.15pm.
