Programme Note

An afternoon of popular baroque pieces, with a surprisingly modern twist at the end. Petra Hajduchová (www.petraharpsichord.com) is a specialist in harpsichord and early music, in high demand as a soloist. She performs regularly on the Continent as well as in the UK, with leading ensembles including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Mozart Players, National Symphony Orchestra, European Union Chamber Orchestra, Piccadilly Sinfonietta and many more, in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, St Martin in the Fields, St James Piccadilly and St John’s Smith Square. Now living in Ramsgate, she has gathered together local musicians to bring her art to the local audience.
