Programme Note
Please note this concert is being POSTPONED. It was planned for 30 July 2022, then delayed to 17 September due to the rail strikes, but now due to the Queen's death it is being postponed until further notice. Watch this space!
Alfred Wall's piano quartet was one of the first Carnegie Award winners, but has been sadly neglected for 100 years, until recently rediscovered. This young ensemble, based at the Guildhall, have come together especially to revive this work, and will join it with some other seldom heard gems of the piano chamber music repertoire.
