Programme Note

A concert with a WW1 theme, commemorating 100 years since the cessation of hostilities. Schumann's popular A minor concerto was performed in one of the camps in Berlin (we will do the first movement only). The other light music pieces on the programme also have connections of one type or another: all will become clear on the day!
