As a charity event, all funds will be donated to the Artera Foundation and the Crafted Art Foundation, founded by Sarah Myerscough, set to open in 2027. The Artera Foundation, a London-based organisation helping the next generation of musicians and artists, and Sarah Myerscough Gallery’s Crafted Art Foundation (CAF), an educational trust dedicated to supporting the next generation of contemporary craft practitioners. Set within the exhibition, the evening invites audiences into a unique sensory experience where live classical music unfolds among works exploring weaving, material, and connection. Musical strings and woven threads intertwine, each shaped by tension, rhythm, and structure, which creates a poetic dialogue between sound and form. The programme features young musicians Bjørg Pas (violin), George Herbert (piano), and Peihan Francesca He (violin), performing a rich repertoire from Johann Sebastian Bach to George Gershwin, alongside works by Luciano Berio, Henryk Wieniawski, and Karol Szymanowski. Through solo violin and violin with piano accompaniment, the performances move between elegance, virtuosity, and expressive depth. More than a concert, Thread & String is an evolving encounter, guiding audiences to listen, look, and experience more deeply. Guests will be welcomed with a complimentary drink, creating a relaxed yet refined social evening within an intimate gallery setting. Join us for a distinctive cultural experience where music, art, and philanthropy meet! An evening of atmosphere, discovery, and connection, while directly supporting both the Artera Foundation and Crafted Art Foundation in their mission to nurture the next generation of artistic talent.
