Programme Note

Exeter Symphony Orchestra present their final concert of the season. With principal Conductor Brian Northcott, their programme includes the Trumpet Concerto by Neruda with soloist David Shead; a feast of pieces by Aaron Copland including his Fanfare for the Common Man; Vaughan Williams’ Concerto Grosso featuring young players from Exeter based “Da Capo” and exciting and haunting film music including Raiders of the Lost Ark and Gabriel’s Oboe. A thrilling concert in every sense!
