Programme Note

Always one of the most eagerly awaited Festival events, the Three Choirs Concert this year features acclaimed choirs from St Albans and London in a concert of spectacular music for choir and organ. Their programme concludes with Bernstein’s tuneful depiction of hope for brotherhood and peace.

 

Pier Damiano Peretti won at St Albans in 1999 and has since established a remarkable career as performer, pedagogue and composer.
