The programme includes sacred and secular music of the 16th century composer William Byrd, madrigals by the 20th century composer Herbert Howells, 'Songs and Sonnets of William Shakespeare’ by the 20th/21st jazz pianist George Shearing, as well as 21st century composer Bob Chilcott’s lively ‘A Little Jazz Mass’.
