Programme Note
Katherine was born and educated in Derby before gaining a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music. Beate lives in Duffield and trained at Cologne Conservatoire and the Royal Academy of Music. Both Katherine and Beate have performed for Music at Duffield on numerous occasions, Katherine as a member of the Iuventus Ensemble and the Aquinas Piano Trio and Beate as a member of the Derby Piano Quartet and as a piano soloist.
They are both well known to Derby audiences as recent soloists with Derby Concert Orchestra.
