Programme Note

Join us for another inspirational and convivial weekend of music-making in the historical and beautiful church at Aysgarth, by the famous Falls, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.  In this concert, intriguingly entitled ‘Madness and Torment’, soprano Bethany Seymour and harpsichordist Peter Seymour explore songs rich in emotion by composers including Henry Purcell, George Frideric Handel, and John Blow.
