Programme Note

A fabulous evening of classical music to be had with one of Lowestoft's finest orchestras!

 

The East Coast Sinfonietta, founded by musician Frankie Ayers in 2016 and are in their 4th season of making music. The first concert of the fourth season takes place at St Andrews Church, Lowestoft on Saturday 22nd February 2020 at 7pm. Tickets are available through ticket source online are £10. Limited tickets will be available on the door.

The concert will be conducted by Frankie Ayers, with leader Beverley McInnes contributing to the world wide 250th birthday celebration of Ludwig van Beethoven by performing the overshadowed Symphony No. 4 in B flat major. Other pieces in the programme include Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro Overture, Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto with soloist Rachel York.

The concert will see a premier performance of Occasional Overture, Op.5 composed by conductor and musician Frankie Ayers.
