Baroque Encounter
Programme Note
The SPAB London Group in association with The Georgian Group proudly present this unique opportunity to hear early baroque music sung in one of London’s finest baroque churches, consecrated in 1730.
A wonderful evening of baroque music, performed by the highly acclaimed Baroque Encounter, in a programme of music written around the time of the celebrated architect of St Anne’s, Nicholas Hawksmoor (1661-1736).
Celebrate the approach of Christmas and experience a ‘Baroque Encounter’ in this marvellously atmospheric Church, which featured in the Christmas television specials of “Call the Midwife” and the tough East End film "Legend".
Come and enjoy the music, including Christmas Carols for all, light refreshments, mulled wine and mince pies in this unique and historic setting.
Doors open at 6.30pm
