A collection of exquisitely crafted and intricate motets written by the younger Michael, a fine composer held arguably in higher regard than his older sibling by his contemporaries than his relative obscurity today might suggest, round out what promises to be a beautiful evening of music, featuring the sumptuous voices of this well-loved amateur choir, now in its 138th year, and the sparkling tones of our line-up of guest soloists, all under the skilful baton of the society's musical director, Martin Everett.
