Add to my Calendar 12-12-2015 19:00 12-12-2015 21:00 36 Ealing Choral Society Carol Concert Ealing Churches Winter Night Shelter (ECWNS) provide emergency dormitory style accommodation for up to 14 guests from those who are sleeping on the streets, are at immediate risk of rough sleeping locally and the ‘hidden homeless’. Their shelter is open during the winter months (from mid-November to the end of March).On each night of the week, whilst the shelter is open, a different church opens its doors to their guests, providing a hot meal, somewhere to sleep, breakfast and above all else, companionship and friendship. On average, guests stay for about 4 weeks before moving on – hopefully to more permanent housing. The concert will certainly get you in the festive mood and there will be the usual well-loved carols, with mince pies and refreshments afterwards. Journalist and broadcaster John Sergeant and MP Stephen Pound will be among those reading seasonal pieces. A great way to enjoy the Festive Season and support a very important cause! Ealing Churches Winter Night Shelter (ECWNS) provide emergency dormitory style accommodation for up to 14 guests from those who are sleeping on the streets, are at immediate risk of rough sleeping locally and the ‘hidden homeless’.
