In the perfect setting and acoustics of St Barnabas Church, Jericho, Oxford, join Oxford Pro Musica Singers for a concert of sumptuous choral music on themes from dusk to dawn. This eclectic programme focuses on the music of living composers, with pieces by Eric Whitacre (Lux Aurumque, Water Night, Sleep), and Stars by Eriks Ešenvalds in which members of the choir will simultaneously sing and play a tuned wine glass. The concert also includes music by Thomas Tallis, Edward Elgar and James MacMillan, together with Kerry Andrew’s luminescent setting of O lux beata Trinitas and Annabel Rooney’s enchanting ‘Round me falls the night’.
