The musicians are full-time professionals, students or recent alumni of the RNCM and amateur players of a high standard. Georgie Malcolm (soprano) recently completed her postgraduate studies at the RNCM with distinction. Deirdre Bencsik is the ensemble’s principal cellist. Community work is an increasing focus of the ensemble’s activities and this season, in partnership with Bolton Music Service, it will perform two concerts in Bolton and deliver an educational programme for primary schools there.
