Two great pieces of the chamber music repertoire to be performed in the beautiful acoustic of St Christopher's Church Haslemere.
The London Chamber Ensemble Quartet has had huge success with their album last year of Howells & Wood, one of Gramophone’s recommended recordings 2024, described as “perfection”, performing live on BBC Radio 3 In Tune. They’ve been invited to prestigious festivals next year, including Three Choirs, and the English Music Festival at Dartington 23.5.26 where their further album will be released. They performed the Schubert Quintet for the Schubert Society of GB with Kirsten Jenson, with whom Madeleine Mitchell has a piano trio, giving a sold out concert at London’s Leighton House this summer.
