In the midst of all the current craziness and uncertainty, this is a couple of hours of other-worldly loveliness in beautiful surroundings!
The concert features four contrasting masterpieces of a cappella choral music. The evergreen Tallis Lamentations, the astringent and powerful Purcell Funeral Sentences for Queen Mary, and the timeless classic that is Vaughan Williams' Mass in G minor. Copland's In the Beginning makes up the quartet, a challenging and atmospheric re-telling of the Biblical creation.
All takes place at 7.30pm on Saturday 16th November at the gorgeous St Clement Danes on Fleet Street
