Programme Note

Pegasus perform a reflective programme including works written in the shadow of the Great War which will be featured on their forthcoming CD, ‘For the Fallen’.

The first half includes a 16-part arrangement of Mahler's 'Ich bin der Welt abhanden gekommen', and Walton's 'The Twelve' - a bravura setting of words by W H Auden. After the interval, the choir will perform the very beautiful Fauré Requiem.
