Programme Note
Lucy (violinist of Gould Piano Trio and principal player in Chamber Orchestra of Europe) and Kate (former cellist of Leopold String Trio and member of Chamber Orchestra of Europe) Gould return to Horley with David Adams (recently appointed leader of English National Opera), Philip Nelson (principal bass with the award-winning ensemble Sinfonia of London) and Gary Pomeroy (recently appointed principal viola of Orchestra of Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and member of Heath Quartet). They are joined by three members of Lumas Winds, who have just won first prize at the 2026 Lyon International Chamber Music Competition.
