The orchestra will be performing Elgar’s iconic Enigma Variations, Beethoven’s Egmont Overture and Butterworth’s idyllic ‘The Banks of Green Willow’, the anthem for all ‘Unknown Soldiers’. All the pieces pay homage to the great sacrifices made by so many in the ‘war to end all wars’. The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets (£12/£10/£2.50) are available in advance from Nailsea Music Shop or on the door. This concert is in support of The Royal British Legion.
