Since March 2020, we have united in our love of choral music and covered oratorios, requiems, hymns and contrasting choral works that have brought us together from all corners of the world. Now, for the first time ever, we invite you all to come and sing with us in person, as we embark on a 'come and sing' tour! Starting in the UK and Ireland, we invite absolutely everybody to join us as we sing a selection of choruses from MESSIAH by George Frideric Handel. Each event will be hosted by Choir of the Earth Founder Mark Strachan BEM and Musical Director Ben England BEM, with a local pianist and organist. The first stop on our tour will be London on Saturday 22 October 2022! Our venue will be St. Gabriel’s Church, Pimlico. Ben will lead us through a selection of around 5 of the following 8 choruses in workshops throughout the day:  And The Glory O Thou That Tellest Glory To God Surely/And With His Stripes He Trusted In God Lift Up Your Heads Hallelujah Worthy Is The Lamb/AmenIn the evening we will sing the choruses we’ve learned in a concert performance! All venues have the following:  Disabled Access First Aid Loop hearing system Toilets (including separate disabled toilets) Sound system Heating Public transport links Local car parking (at additional cost) Tea & coffee onsite and/or hospitality options nearby (at additional cost)Please bring your own score. We will send you a digital score pack of the 8 choruses only shortly after purchasing your ticket. We encourage attendees to use digital scores where possible, in line with Choir of the Earth's environmentally-conscious values. However, if you wish to use a printed score, we shall be using the PROUT score, which can be purchased from all good retailers (Novello publish a PROUT version). Please note: we will not have any scores on site. Upon purchasing your ticket, you will also be invited to exclusive online overview sessions with Ben for these choruses. These will be earlier pre-recorded sessions specific to your voice part and will be broadcast as YouTube Premieres so that we can use the online chat.
