Join fellow choral enthusiasts for a full day of singing Joseph Haydn’s Missa in angustiis ("Mass for Troubled Times"), commonly known as the Nelson Mass. Led by renowned conductor Ben England, this workshop is designed for keen singers eager to explore the richness and drama of Haydn’s iconic choral work. You will focus on vocal technique, interpretation, and ensemble performance, all within the framework of this masterful composition. To give you the opportunity to prepare before the day, you will receive a digital resource pack, including the full score, teaching videos, and voice part louder rehearsal tracks. The day will conclude with an informal performance featuring professional soloists, open to family and friends free of charge (capacity permitting).

An oil painting style image of Joseph Haydn and Admiral Nelson shaking hands over a wooden table in a room lit by candles. The text invites you to come and sing Haydn's Nelson Mass with Choir of the Earth Events in London on 23 November 2024
