This well-known London choir's Summer Opera Gala will include the Chorus of The Hebrew Slaves (Va Pensiero) from Verdi’s opera Nabucco, arguably the most famous of all opera choruses, as well arias, ensembles and choruses from Bizet’s Carmen, Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana, and the exciting Polovtsian Dances from Borodin’s Prince Igor, among many more. The programme will end with a suite of choruses from Bernstein's West Side Story. For all lovers of opera and choral music, this is a concert not to be missed.
