This glittering ensemble is a firm favourite at St George’s and creates Baroque magic whenever it performs here. Expect a lavish evening of music-making that ranges from the beautiful to the jubilant by way of concertos for violin, cello, oboes and the flamboyant, virtuosic Baroque horn. Presented from the stage by its charismatic violinist leader Adrian Chandler, and ending with a festive concerto featuring all the players, the style, gusto and sheer joy of this Baroque performance is best summed up in one word: Bellissimo!
