He performed at the First Night of the Proms at the age of 19, and at the Last Night four years later. His four recordings to date for Decca have been widely acclaimed, his latest praised in BBC Music Magazine for ‘showing off his fluid virtuosity, musical sensitivity and fearless approach’.
