Exultate Singers packs its bags for a Grand Tour of European music that brings together some of the standout choral works that have entertained, inspired and moved its ever-growing audience in 12 countries over 15 years. Expect a spectacular programme of sacred and secular music from across the centuries that roams around the cities and countryside of Europe, taking in folksongs and large-scale works in multiple voices that make full use of St George’s wonderful acoustic. The programme, which also features the world premiere performance of Naji Hakim’s newly commissioned ‘Exultate Deo’, is crowned by Roxanna Panufnik’s All Shall Be Well. Featuring cellist Richard May, it’s a work with luxurious, rich textures that combines the soaring voice of the solo cello with eight-part choir.
