As a variation we will be offering a 'Seasons Sandwich', the filling in the first half of the concert will be a rare chance to hear the double bass as a virtuoso instrument. Elena Hull, one of the country's top players and one of the orchestra's regular bass players, tackles Bottesini's Gran Duo with Katherine Jenkinson on cello.
