Programme Note

Come and hear some lovely lighter music sung by the Elgar Chorale in the spacious surroundings of St George’s Church situated in Worcester’s fine Georgian Square in Barbourne. As well as fun pieces by Richard Rodney Bennet there are works by John Rutter and Benjamin Britten and the last composition by the Elgar Chorale’s founder, Dr Donald Hunt ‘Now sleeps the crimson petal’ written as a Golden Wedding present for two of his close friends.
