Moonlight Sonata by Candlelight

This evening's concert promises to take the listener on a spell-binding journey of moods and emotions. Audiences will be treated to a programme full of poetry and virtuosic display, from Debussy's Clair de Lune, to Liszt's Rigioletto Paraphrase in addition to a number of celebrated works by Chopin. The evening concludes with Gershwin's ever-popular Rhapsody in Blue, with its powerful melodies, driving rhythms and glittering piano writing in this compelling kaleidoscope of jazz and classical influences.   Famously described by Charles Dickens  as “THE MOST PERFECT ROOM IN THE WORLD” St George’s Hall is situated directly opposite Liverpool Lime Street Station and offer visitors to Liverpool an easily accessible musical treat, with its superb acoustic, beautiful interior and the convenience of all the bars and restaurants of the city on its doorstep.   So why not treat yourself to an autumnal musical treat on and join us for an evening to remember of uplifting music at St George’s Hall, performed by this sensational British pianist, making his Liverpool debut.
