Programme Note
Join us for the launch of our 2024-25 Orpheus Sinfonia Foundation Programme season featuring this year's brand new cohort of Foundation Programme musicians, alongside our illustrious Orpheus Principals, and with the debut of 2024-25 Foundation Conductor Daniel Joseph.
We explore the tumultuous journeys of three of the world's best loved composers, Mozart, Schumann and Beethoven. As each battled against the odds, in triumphing from their tribulations they produced these captivating and extraordinary masterpieces, which bring to life for you on Thursday 10th October.
Artistic Director, Thomas Carroll, not only takes to the podium for Mozart's Don Giovanni overture and Beethoven's 7th Symphony, but will also feature as soloist in Schumann's Cello Concerto, conducted by extraordinary young talent Daniel Joseph.
Full of Orpheus' renowned vibrancy and dynamism, we do hope you can join us for this evening of exceptional artistry and inspiration!
The Orpheus Sinfonia Foundation Programme is generously supported by the Skyrme Hart Charitable Trust.
