Featuring renowned concert pianist, Luke Jones, the programme will include Beethoven's masterpiece The Moonlight Sonata along with other outstanding classical and romantic piano works
"Luke Jones, who is one of the most remarkable, accomplished, and musically mature young pianists I've heard in a very long time, is a musician's musician. He is a good deal more than a pianist to watch; he is an abundantly imaginative virtuoso who puts his phenomenal technical and interpretive apparatus in the service of musical substance." - John Bell Young, pianist and former critic for the American Record Guide, Fanfare, Clavier, and the St Petersburg Times
Luke Jones is a Welsh pianist. Originally from Wrexham in North Wales, he started playing the piano at the age of 5 and made his debut recital at Oriel Wrecsam aged 10. Since then he has performed all over Britain in venues such as Bridgewater Hall – Manchester, Eaton Square – London, St. David’s Hall - Cardiff, Symphony Hall - Birmingham, Pump Room – Bath, St. George’s - Bristol etc.
