Programme Note

Our 27th St Anne’s Bach Festival concludes, on the exact anniversary of J S Bach's death, with an orchestral concert featuring a feast of Baroque fare.

The programme will include works by J S Bach himself, his son C P E Bach and Frederick the Great's flutemaster J J Quantz, including a violin concerto, a flute concerto and Bach's popular 2nd Orchestral Suite.

Audience members are invited to stay on after the concert for a wine reception marking the end of this year’s Festival.
